It is clearly noticeable that technological progress logically does not bypass the textile industry. Revolutionary changes in technologies, which have already become everyday life, are a prerequisite for many more opportunities for companies carrying out production, but also pose a lot of challenges for them. For example, to produce denim work clothes.
Our first article in Blog Mechta ended with a promise from our side to reveal to you in the next article the advantages of denim, making it the most suitable fabric for the production of workwear. It's time to keep our promise.
The most important distinguishing feature of denim is that it is made of cotton - a natural plant-based product that makes denim a natural, strong, comfortable and extremely high-quality textile material. It is a light and non-abrasive material, regardless of the density of the denim, but at the same time denim can be easily quilted, which is good news for winter work clothes.
The remaining textile materials are artificial, the result of chemical synthesis, namely: polyamide (nylon), spandex (lycra, elastane), polyester and the like. "Ordinary workwear", as we call it, is made of precisely such materials.
But, as we have already said, market advantages and opportunities inevitably lead to new challenges.
As a fabric made from natural cotton, denim requires much more specific processing - from the moment you receive the finished patterns from the fashion designer and the process of cutting itself, through sewing, and all the way to washing the work clothes in specialized laundries so that they do not stain afterwards and do not shrink.
